Mission

 

          The mission of Statesville Christian School is to train students, in partnership with families, to think, live, love, and lead as Christians through programs of academic excellence based upon a biblical worldview.

           

Our History

 

           Statesville Christian School, which opened in the fall of 1995 with 61 students, provides a Christ-centered, Biblically-based education for four-year-old through twelfth grade students. For over 12 years, Statesville Christian School, through its dedicated faculty and administrators, has shaped the lives of hundreds of young people. SCS operates as an independent, inter-denominational school that prepares students to effectively serve Christ in a contemporary society. The school offers a comprehensive college preparatory curriculum including honors and Advanced Placement courses at the high school level. Also offered are fine arts, drama, three computer labs, winterim, internships, a middle school society program, and a full athletic program supporting twenty-two varsity, junior varsity, and middle-school teams, as well as many athletic teams for the elementary school. In addition, all middle school and high school classrooms are equipped with state of the art SMART Boards.
