GIRLS and BOYS

 

Shirts - All shirts must have a collar

Polo and button-down styles allowed

Pants

Navy, Khaki

Shorts  -  shorts may not be shorter than 3” above knee

Navy, Khaki

GIRLS - ANYDAY

 

Skirts – skirts may not be shorter than 3” above knee

Navy, Khaki

CHAPEL – GIRLS/BOYS

 

Normal Dress Code

 

FOOTWEAR – GIRLS and BOYS

 

Tennis Shoes, Dress Shoes, Sandals

NO heels, NO flip-flops (rubber or beach), NO lights,
NO cartoons

Socks, tights, hosiery

Solid colors only

 

Sweatshirts/Hoodies:

  • “Hoodies” are not acceptable.

 

Hats:

  • Hats and head coverings may be worn outdoors for warmth only.

 

Jewelry:

  • Jewelry is to be discreet and small in general.  Long styles are a safety issue.
  • Boys are not permitted to wear earrings.
  • Only ears are permitted to be pierced.

 

General Appearance:

  • Clothing must be in good repair.
  • Clothing must fit properly, at all times – Tight clothing and bottom wear hanging below waist (“baggies”) are to be avoided.
  • Shoulders and midriffs must never be seen – ALL students.
  • Low necklines should be avoided.
  • Knit, stretch or parachute pants should not be worn.
  • Logos – SCS.  The ONLY exceptions are “small” brand label/logo on top or bottom wear.
  • Cartoon characters are not permitted on clothes or shoes.
  • Students should not have tattoos or artificial nails.
  • Nail polish – Black is not permitted.
  • Hair is to be in natural colors and styles, properly groomed and clean.

 

“Dress down” days will be every half-day as well as other days as announced.
