Annual Fund: At independent schools, tuition alone does not cover the full cost of educating students each year. Statesville Christian School is no exception. The Annual Fund provides the school with the essential operating dollars that bridge the gap between our tuition income and the full cost of providing a quality education for our students.
2007/2008 Annual Fund: We are very excited to have Dr. Gary Chapman as our guest speaker on Thursday, November 8, 2007. Make plans to be with us during our Annual Fund event. More details to follow.
Thank you to everyone who participated!!
Statesville Christian School 8th Annual Golf Classic Monday, May 7, 2007.
Click here for sponsorship and/or registration for the Annual Golf Tournament. Partner together with Statesville Christian School in making a diference in the lives of our students. Come out for a day of fellowship, bid on your favorite celebrity to play golf with them. Don't play golf then come for the silent auction. Lots of great items. Thank you, to all of the participants and sponsors. The golf classic was a grand success raising $26,750.00 in profit. Capital Campaigns: While the Annual Fund supports the operating needs of the school for a given year, Capital Campaigns raise dollars to construct new facilities, renovate existing buildings, and build our endowment. Currently, SCS is looking to expand its Upper School, add more athletic fields and tennis courts, and build additional space for expanded arts and music programming. Families and friends of the school are being called upon to consider a multi-year pledge in order to raise the substantial gifts needed to bring these major projects into reality
Endowment Funds: In addition to annual operations and capital needs, another avenue of support for the school is through the Endowment Fund. Gifts to the SCS Endowment are long-term investments. The school benefits by using a percentage of the return to increase financial aid, fund faculty development and student leadership development, and support the education program. |
